This was well lush. With loads left for tomorrow.
I do struggle at times what do for tea, what with both of us being fussy eaters. I know we have this quite a lot, but it's sumat we both enjoy and there's never any waste.
Wish my lot liked tuna pasta bake, I'm not a pasta fan, but used to love tuna pasta bake when the boys were little. Sadly minime & the carer don't like tuna 😳 , the boys and me used to love it though, and it's a fairy cheap meal, nom nom nom....

Omg, the carer went to the shop right now to get a beer, and brought back chips from the chippy! The flipping lemon meringue is cooking!.

But chips!

My version of spagbol today made with quorn mince and with all sorts thrown in ( including Jack Daniels sauces ).

Suprisingly it came out one of the best ones ever, especially as after suggesting it I didn't feel a bit like doing it !

Late work night for me, so chicken & mushroom pie, chips & curry sauce from the chippy.

I've started to think I need nana meals, the chip shop portions are way to big for me.

Just had a Katsu curry, been in the slow cooker since teatime yesterday. I didn't enjoy it one bit. Probably been in too long, but it smelt like a beef curry, not chicken, tasted like beef too. Hard to explain, and looks and sounds daft when I read it all back to myself. But it was just horrible. Shame cos we both love a Chicken Katsu.
Tomorrow is a Turkey roast, unless he decides go out with his Dad after work.

Lamb Kleftiko

The best Greek potatoes

Butter roasted carrots and tenderstem.

A bit of a mixture, but still

*Note to self, do the potatoes in the pyrex, not the metal tray

Enjoying a drop of red.
Fresh mussels to start, followed by Rib-eye steaks, chips (made with the help of my new crinkle cutter that I bought this afternoon), field mushrooms and a home made garlic sauce. The current Mrs p has made a tiramisu for afters.

p jr's 'friend' brought a dozen bottles of CdP in the mahoosive case she managed to get on the plane when she came over, so a couple may end up getting opened.

Not entirely sure l like Lamb Kleftiko....the recipe said 15 cloves of garlic, but I only used 5......way to garlicky for me!

Although minime and the carer said they couldn't taste garlic at all!

My taste/smell is still weird though....

Sausages, baken beans and giant hash brown. Didn't really enjoy it as wasn't in the mood for eating (with all the worry of the underground water leak)

Looking forwards to tomorrows pancakes more that son is coming round to help make on his day off.

Son came to visit , armed with double cheeseburgers and Mcflurry to cheer me up. Then we made pancakes :) That was dinner , don't feel like cooking anything for tea so maybe just a piece of toast later.
