Someone I know has had a run in with her current fella. Reckons he's an absolute tosser. He's baffled as to how he's been done for GBH too. Seems he enjoys the mythical 'romance' that comes with hard drug addiction.

I could point him in the direction of one or two that would argue otherwise.

The likes of the NME et al fawning over the likes of Doherty and Winehouse just amuses me. Fast becoming a cliche.

Anyone know if it's true that Ms Winehouse was once an extra in a Competitive Dad sketch on The Fast Show?

at the moment i find myself liking the album by the pigeon detectives, plain white Ts, madina lake, elliot minor, the cribs and lots of simular bands,

also starting to listen to music by artists such as dizzee rascal and kano, thanks to my mate, thought it would be crap but some of this :boh: music is rather good

Burial - Untrue.

An absolutely superb album. God bless the Wire for writing an excellent review that convinced me to go and blag a copy off my mate. ;)

Blaze Bayley's first post-Iron Maiden live album. I was at the gig when it was recorded, and it kicks Rock In Rio's arse :) It's a shame BB is the only one left of that lineup. :(
S'pose we all know about http://www.last.fm/ ?

The Qemists - Join The Q

Mix of DnB/Metal/Electro, very similar to Pendulum on some tracks, but worth downloading/buying/stealing for the track with Mike Patton alone! Is all kinds of greatness!

Stompbox
Lost Weekend
On The Run

i heard one on the radio a while ago which was absolutely awful.. sounded like (bad) pendulum on a bad day.. and that's bad meaning bad not bad meaning good lol.. i think it was the mike patton one, in fact..

but i keep hearing their name mentioned, so i might get hold of the rest of the album and see what it's saying.. can't listen to those links atm, alas..
