Think I need to fasten the trampoline down. I'm about to take my daughter out to a club and I'm feeling a tad nervous, it's like Kansas out there

Trees are a serious issue in the first big wind after the summer, in particular.

Shit, just been out to see what the massive crashing noise was...part of our bloody shed roof gone :o
Always worth some headgear when investigating such events - especially in the dark - you won't see it coming and your inert form may not be noticed for a while....

Half a tree down and lots of debris, not looking forward to fetching back later. Back home and powers on, powers off, powers on, powers off! Little ones are loving it but I'm running round unplugging devices.

Oh noo! Have you got much in there? Last time we had serious gales our trampoline came hurling accross the garden into the bricks of the house narrowly missing the patio window, pretty good job as I was rooted to the spot watching through said patio window

Enjoying a drop of red.
Power went out for about 15 seconds here a few mins ago and still flickering every now and then.

No power flickers here. I went for a walk to Asda a bit ago and sevral branches were coming down on Corporation street. I tried to stop a few cars but they continued to smash into them and the noises on their underbody didn't sound too healthy! Some drivers did stop while I removed the offending matter and gave me a thumb of appreciation.

Thankful right now that I got rid of the trampoline earlier this year, and don't think I need to worry about the swimming pool as it's been winterised with around 8 tons of water still remaining in it - that beut's going nowhere! :)
