Unfair of you to ask, but as you do, all I would say is that after 23 years in the pub, hotel and restaurant business it never gets any easier, but what a fantastic building to operate from and how proud Stafford should be that someone has invested so heavily in our town centre, lets give them a chance and I'm sure that with determination his team will succeed. Lets seem more entrepreneurs investing in our town, businesses such as the Post House should give other investors faith in our town and that's what brings jobs and shoppers to our high street.

In fairness, ChrisLewis has already posted his opinions in that thread, which is a more appropriate place than in a thread about Christmas 2011 at The Swan, so let's nip that one in the bud. :)

Best of luck with the Christmas shenanigans, ChrisLewis! :xmas:

It's hard for Chris Lewis to answer that one, as any criticism could easily be construed wrong as a 'competitor' in the town. If you want to know how to run an upmarket business, check out the Lewis Partnership's Portfolio, they do it the best in my opinion :)

Erm...might just be me but this thread is all about the live bands at the swan over the next few nights. Lets keep it to that if we can as if it's anything like the summer ones they'll be great nights!

Speculation from sources that cannot be named can have their own thread if they want one! :)

Exactly. :)

If anyone wishes to discuss anything not related to Christmas 2011 at The Swan, then please find an appropriate thread or, if one doesn't exist, start a new one.
