I remember the white dog logs and im 33. They were everywhere when I were a lad. Back in the day there were dogs round the neighbourhood that just went out for the day unaccompanied by an owner and went wherever they chose to. Most of them were known to all the kids by name.they would walk up for a fuss and then carry on like they were off to the shop to pick up 10 fags. Looking back now I wonder where they all went for the day, must have been some seedy dog club where they all met up for a shag. It was a frequent occurance to see a couple of dogs fornicating in the street. All the kids would chase em and the female would do a runner dragging the male yelping behind it. I remember being in the car with my old dear once amd drove past an alsation rooting a yorkshire terrier. Poor sod.
Its called being a lazy tardWhile we're on this delicate subject What is it with people who pick up there dog shit in a bag and then just dump the bag? There's is one dog walker who uses black poo bags and who uses the railway line around the entrance from Bellasis street, who must pick up there dog's shit every day in their little black bag, and even though they are only yards from TWO bins, they just dump bag after bag of poo right where their dog craps. I can't get my head around it?. They're making the effort to bring a bag and pick the poo up, but can't walk 5 yards to the bin? There's like a trail of little black bag's where their dog does it's daily deposits. if anyone can explain this I would be truly fascinated!!
