I'd rather spend 30 seconds with my ex husband.Anyone else watching?
It is, and they do, don't they?! xxI've already called the pitch a 'court' and said they 'bat' the ball to each other so I no Idea what sport I'm actually watching!
Gary Neville was interestingly candid about this earlier this evening - re. the difference between him and Southgate - he said that he adored his club, and loved playing for his country, whereas Southgate loved his club but adored playing for his country. That's why he felt that Southgate would prefer to stay within the England set-up rather than go back to a Premiership managerial role if one were offered.I love club football but I really don't care about international.
The people who dip in when the Tournament is in full swing might not understand at all why someone might put their club above their Country, but it makes perfect sense to the rest of us.
The Twelfth of July would be a convenient date for a flag-waving festival in some areas.Latest is that there is a petition with huge amounts of support calling for a bank holiday on 12th July if England do win the... cup/prize/thingumabob.
If people feel that stupidly overpaid, hair-band wearing drama queens kicking pigskin well merits a day off work, then I'd like to suggest an alternative.
Anyone that couldn't give a flying f*ck about the football and who goes to work (if this bank holiday does get called) should be on 10 x daily rate, coming from the salaries of the lazy sods who want to use wendyball success as a justification for working less.
hair-band wearing
Won't happen for me because I work for the NHS. But lovely idea.Anyone that couldn't give a flying f*ck about the football and who goes to work (if this bank holiday does get called) should be on 10 x daily rate, coming from the salaries of the lazy sods who want to use wendyball success as a justification for working less.
I like major championships but only for the obscure matchups...I don't like the England games mainly for the knobbish fickle fans...Anyone else watching?
