Yesterday we went to the monthly comedy night in the Gatehouse MET. I did have reservations about going as it is quite a small venue however, it was good to see everyone there wearing masks etc. especially when in the public areas. Also good to see that the Gatehouse had staggered the start time with the the Panto so we were able to avoid the hoardes associated with that too!.

A complete aside but who was on @The Notorious A.N.T. I can never find out what the acts are like to decide if it's worth going.
Hi Lucy, last night it was Lou Conran (compere), Simon Wozniak & Peter Brush. All were very funny, we had a great night. That is the only thing with the MET comedy, you never know who is appearing until the night. You pay your money, you take your chance as they say!. To be honest we have been quite a few times now & there have only been one or two comics who were a 'miss'. We saw Helen Bauer there a while ago & she got heckled off she was that dire. However, she headlined Live at the Apollo recently so someone must be finding her funny!.

Cheers. Lou's a very good MC. I enjoy seeing comedians that aren't mainstream, often go to Sarah Millican's Playground there.

For good?

First day back at work today, my boss has it. Most likely from the pre-NYE drinks I chose to avoid, I shall also be avoiding the office.

Yep

That's the plan
