A puppy is a much better idea...Oddly with the impending new addition to the family, Gurly reckons she fancies the idea of going through pregnancy but without the baby at the end of it bit.
Weird.

It was well icey this morning. The pups did not appreciate it one little bit.Slipped over on ice twice in the last two days. Thankfully no lasting damage but bruised knees from first fall and jolted back from second.
I’m blaming the stupid coating the council put on the paths to cover up the crap surface underneath. It’s deadly when it’s icy.
Same, I'm out most mornings at 6.30am, it's been horribly slippery of late, thankfully I've not encountered ice in a bad way while driving, just while getting to & from my car. I have to admit that I'm terrified of falling & injuring myself. A work colleague is off work at the moment after having a hip replacement, horror of horrors her partner slipped in ice and fractured (something) only a few days after her op and is now stuck in hospital waiting for his operation on tuesday.... Terrible.Slipped over on ice twice in the last two days. Thankfully no lasting damage but bruised knees from first fall and jolted back from second.

You should buy it & move there to get it ready for when hubby retires.... You'll be just round the corner from son, and hubby can stay in Stafford till he retires...Spotted the perfect house for sale, perfect location , and price stretchable to...... but a year or so too early ! Given me hope now though that there might be an affordable suitable home for us in a good area in Worcester when hubby retires after all.
Nice idea if we had a spare pile of cash lying around to buy it outright , as well as hanging onto this one til next year. You should buy it & move there to get it ready for when hubby retires.... You'll be just round the corner from son, and hubby can stay in Stafford till he retires...
Oooooh....... possibility of working from home has just been thrown into the mix until retirement , if we see something grabbable...You should buy it & move there to get it ready for when hubby retires.... You'll be just round the corner from son, and hubby can stay in Stafford till he retires...
Yes, absence makes the heart grow fonder !hubby can stay in Stafford till he retires
I feel your pain. We've gone from "we could knock through from the kitchen to the dining room" a wall with no cupboards, cabinets or appliances. To "we could take the opportunity to have a new kitchen" The (unacceptable) quote is in.“we should replace our kitchen cabinet doors” has turned into “we should replace the oven unit to add a drawer, and replace the floor, and maybe the counter if Magnet have anything on clearance…”
For clarification, she is not the pregnant one.Oddly with the impending new addition to the family, Gurly reckons she fancies the idea of going through pregnancy but without the baby at the end of it bit.
