Garlic really works with lamb.Roast leg of lamb, roast spuds, roasted parsnips and spinach (with loads of garlic).
Garlic works with everything, as far as we're concerned.Garlic really works with lamb.
Mine were really soggy when I made them...so I added extra flour, then some more extra flour....they look nicer than suet dumplings to be fair......cooking nowYep!
Except I put them in the oven first then popped them in the pot for the last 5mins. I found they were really soggy otherwise!
Also added LOTS of chilli!
Just realised that apart from a glug to deglaze the chilli pan, I've finished the bottle.Wine is being taken.
No change there thenJust realised that apart from a glug to deglaze the chilli pan, I've finished the bottle.
I would generally agree with that apart from Sunday roast lamb where I prefer no additional herb or garlic seasoning but each to their own.Garlic works with everything, as far as we're concerned.
A second bottle was called in so feeling a little 'relaxed' now. Not good on a 'school night'.No change there then
No. I disagree, the carer likes to put garlic where I expect it the least...curry - yes, chilli - yes, lamb - yes, mashed potato - NO!I would generally agree with that apart from Sunday roast lamb where I prefer no additional herb or garlic seasoning but each to their own.

The goulash was delicious.....but I did diviate and add courgette & spinich (veggies needed using up) and I might have made it extra hot by adding 2 spoons of chilli, and a whole red chilli that said it was hear 2 but was probably heat 5......me and mini loved it,the carer thought it too hot.How was it?!
We had a selection of freezer crap...
