No, I was not - I've often thought it was a little bit of a shame I always had a boyfriend from back home when I lived in halls, there would have been fun to be had... Our flat of 6 had four girls in it but I was the only girl on my course.

I don't remember there being any issues with the students and the locals, just complaints about the speed of the internet
There was one girl on our course who happily admitted she had no interest in IT, and chose the course based on the number of men. She had a great time, fair play to her.

And yet you prefaced it with -

- and linked to a video that was presumably intended to demonstrate that.

And instead of being illuminating in any way to that point, it was just some dreary bloke reading off a list of areas of the UK and saying 'god knows' what is true. Ultimately all it really revealed was that Serco appear to be struggling to find accommodation for a few thousand people in the face of a detention centre being closed, and looking for private rentals to plug the gap.

And now you are saying 'it' is all fubared and 'none' of us really know anything. Which is your 'main' point.

I don't think i'm being entirely unreasonable when i suggest you are not bringing much of value to the proverbial table.

The wider point, as far as i am concerned, is that if that kind of content is feeding your, of late, rather outré offerings to this esteemed forum, you really should take a look at your bedfellows. You have taken a wrong turn, and one can only hope it's not too late.
I suggest you widen your field of vision rather than just assuming I get every single thing wrong before taking those oh so dreary blinkers off!
If nobody challenged anything that was going on we'd be even more shafted than we already are!

I say this as someone who works in IT (well, programming…) and graduated from Stafford campus

She was really scraping the bottom of the barrel doing that with an IT course

Rather like all the young men who happily admit they have no interest in dancing and choose to go to discos based on the number of young women there.

Bit like Southend United FC supporters then. Don't know what it is like now but certainly from the 50's to the 80's the majority of young men who went along to matches weren't interested in the football, they went because lots of girls went to the matches.

Mrs Noah graduated from Stafford Campus in 2000 (mature student), Business Computing. Looking at the graduation photos there were 3 men and 6 women on the course that year.

9 on a course?

I guess I went when it was state funded (just!) so courses that small didn't exist.

Thinking about it there was at least one other but she wouldn't have been with the others at graduation. When they had group projects she did nothing, never even turned up to meetings but when it came to dividing up the marks she turned up and demanded that marks were split equally or she would claim discrimination.

How am i supposed to widen my field of vision before taking my blinkers off?

You seem to be quite adept at not thinking things through.

Maybe they should re-think the rules and regs they signed off on return of people, due to the Brexit that they imposed.
Maybe they should stop pointing the finger at everybody else.
Maybe they should stop causing problems and then creating half arsed fixes and claiming they are miracle workers.
Maybe they should s**t or get off the pot in leading this nation into a swamp.
Maybe they should stop creating distractions to bury bad news and just get onw with doing what they should do - Lead the nation and look after the welfare of all that are in it, while protecting our borders and not manipulating us. Let's face it, that's what is happening. Creating situations to turn people against each other! Shocking!

Enjoying a drop of red.

Maybe?

So you're not sure about any of these things?

To be fair we gave them carte blanche with brexit, they kept pushing the boundaries and realised they could do anything they wanted as long as they promised brexit. But brexit was always going to be by the tories, for the tories, so why anyone is so shocked they screwed us over is beyond me.

For everything else in that list, at least I can hold my head high and say I never voted for them. Our so called democracy means that doesn't matter though.

A site visit. Don’t think I would have recognised either of them ‘in the field’ without their yellow helmets.
