Yo Benedict ! I cycle along the Isobel (Chisholm!) Trail regularly from Beaconside to town. When it floods under the Eccleshall Road bridge I turn off via the small alleyway leading to Alliance St then continue up to - and across - the Eccleshall Road then cut through the cemetary - and back onto the trail again.

Whatever you do don’t use Alliance St as a rat run. 😁

Wearing my engagement ring for the first time in over 28 years and both wedding and engagement rings looking sparkly as if new.

Engagement ring never went back over my knuckles after my caesarean. Thought I might as well see if they could do that the same time as wedding ring being which had to be forced off and left off after fall 9 weeks ago.

First jeweller reckoned engagement ring would be more or less impossible to enlarge without adding loads of gold and price starting from £240 upwards just for that one ring. So said I should forget it and buy a new one instead. Wedding ring with them was going to be £48 upwards "depending".....

This one has done enlarging of both , 2 sizes up , on the premises in 2 days for £120 total. So happy I shopped around ! Can't remember them both ever being so shiny . 😃

Playing name that tune in one ( in Eagle Vaults in Worcester) to all the oldies.
Amazing how I can remember all the tunes from first note from 60's & 70's , but can't remember what I did a couple of days ago!

Somehow got home after a scary taxi ride from the taxi rank , including up the pavement to avoid 3 head on crashes in the one road alone. Up the back of the @rses of every car in front who were sticking to the speed limit. About to overtake one car , who had slowed down for the car in front of him turning right. My " He's turning!" Stopped him ploughing on past into it.
Then 2 Islands from home, a car in front was slow taking his turning off the island , with our driver speeding up straight for it. My " F**KING HELL!!!!" Got him slamming his brakes on cms away from hitting him. Then overtook that car on the next island almost side swiping it.

He didn't get the usual tip !!!!

(Usually get nice drivers who chat away and drive sensibly with a smooth ride . Got it from a different rank tonight.This one never spoke after the initial " Are you paying cash?" As he wound the window down before we got in)

You know, if anyone else had posted this I’d never have believed it but it’s @staffordjas so it’s possible it was even worse than it sounds. 😉😁😁

So traumatic I did an even sillier thing afterwards. I have to wear my hand splint for at least next 4 weeks at night in bed and 'at risk of knocking it' situations......

Thought my finger was improving when it wasn't so sore against the cast this morning when I woke up ......... wait for it.......

Only went and put the splint/finger cast thingy on the wrong finger last night ! 🤣

Obviously wasn't as sober as I thought after just a couple of drinks with the meal out. 😂

Drove to the random point I was given directions to and beeped at the bloke I was supposed to, only he wasn't the bloke I was supposed to beep at ...bloke helped me on my quest anyway, thank you random guy in orange! 🤣🤣👍

May have melted some wiring running a heater in the car to help dry the mould, oops. Was a temporary cable to the external socket til I can route a real one properly, was on thin guage braided, connector melted!

Aaaargh....trying to reorder my repeat meds....NHS App won't let me in . Patient Access saying sent verification codes but didn't come through. 2nd attempt still no text . Restarted phone , texts finally come through. Patient access now ' You've ordered too many verification codes , so locked out of account.'
Rings docs , prescription line only open one hour a day when I'm in my zumba class :roll:

Can't you still drop it in the box (paper version) like you used to? Ours was on the wall outside.
