Age difference.

I don't personaly think there's an OK or not OK age difference in any age bracket once a couple are over 18, just pointing out that the difference appears more marked at an earlier age.
I could've quoted 16-26 but that would probably have sent the thread off at a tangent.
Fair enough, thanks

There's a significant age difference between myself & my other half so I tend to have a vested interest when this subject gets brought up

35 year old man with an 18 year old girl.... You're right, most blokes would be envious. Then again 18 year old lad with a 35 year old milf... most young men would be envious! ... Can anyone else see a pattern?!

I have no opinion either way - some friends of mine ( and of some others on here ) have getting on for 20 years between them. In fact, she's three months younger than his daughter. They've had 15 years together, with two more kids and she treats him as the eldest child.....

It's called "the legal age" for a reason. If someone 18 and 35 fall in love and treat eachother right is it really doing anybody else any harm?? (And if the HIM is the 35, most men would probably be saying "lucky bugger" if we're honest) ;)
i dunno...when i was 24 i met a fella who was 38....his mates used to call me the child bride which i thought was quite amusing and i really didnt have an issue with the difference.

he didnt think it was that funny though and really couldnt handle it so we ended- his loss.

i also saw a 28 year old for a while when i was 17, but quite frankly, even by my own admission, he was a bit weird! lol

At 25 I started seeing a 16 year old, were together about 2 years or so. Was good while it lasted, the last few months she was a pain in the arse but that stands for all relationships pretty much!

Whilst people are now airing there own experiences I started a relationship with a 23 yr old girl when I was 41 and have to say it worked OK for about 4 years until circumstances dictated that she had to move away from the area.

I think it depends on how you deal with the age difference, me and my missus have just celebrated 25 years of marriage, she's 7 years younger than me.....although I've never really grown up!
