Age difference.

Age is nothing but a number. Relationships are based on things that are far more important then the year of each partner's birth

I reckon the older the couple the less the age difference shows itself 79-89 looks OK 19-29 appears not so OK.
Just reckon that at their age they've had pretty similar life experiences.

i agree, and to be honest, if their ages hadnt been mentioned, i would never have known there was such difference, let alone who was the eldest.

What would you consider an OK age difference for couples in that age bracket?
I don't personaly think there's an OK or not OK age difference in any age bracket once a couple are over 18, just pointing out that the difference appears more marked at an earlier age.
I could've quoted 16-26 but that would probably have sent the thread off at a tangent.

It's called "the legal age" for a reason. If someone 18 and 35 fall in love and treat eachother right is it really doing anybody else any harm?? (And if the HIM is the 35, most men would probably be saying "lucky bugger" if we're honest) ;)
