Ashiana....

A lot of the bad points have legal notices attached I see, 1 week to clean the microwaves and mop the floor.

I've been 'behind the scenes' in many restaurants up and down the country (mainly indian and chinese) and you would not believe some of the sights I've seen.
I used to wonder how yellow rice was made until I saw a hessian sack of rice wedged between the toilet pan and the wall in the staff toilets at an Ellesmere Port indian takeaway. Piles of rancid, pre-cooked poppadoms stacked up waiting to be microwaved. On one occasion a kitchen sink in an upstairs kitchen being used as washing facilities for live in staff.
On the other hand I can probably remember only two or three occasions when I've suffered 'dodgy curry' syndrome and on those occasions it was probably helped along by copious quantities of booze prior to eating!

Gotta agree with that, we have much better places to eat. But each to their own, I know people that rave about it. No accounting for taste.

What's a shame is that ashiana had 5 stars before.

My husband's work has just cancelled their Christmas do there (60 plus people) Presumably they cancelled because they want to ensure people turn in to work on the Monday lol:barf:

Narvana gets my vote, or Raas Leela if you have a few extra quid. Not that these reviews bother me that much, but I never liked the food at Ashiana anyway.
