Narvana gets my vote, or Raas Leela if you have a few extra quid. Not that these reviews bother me that much, but I never liked the food at Ashiana anyway.

Tried the Island restaurant on the weekend, highly recommend, food & service was top class, still to try the Raas Leela.

Even with a clean kitchen I can't see the quality of their curries getting any better - last time I was there it blandest curry I've had in ages.

Each to their own I suppose, but personally I love their food. Went for son's GF birthday meal only a couple of nights ago and the food was outstanding.

I know the Oriental Face Filler place up on J14 gets from Iceland, they were getting rid of these crappy prawn things on a stick and when I went up the following week they had loads of the things in the starters. Mind you, ya get what you pay for.

No not yet. Don't venture into town all too often any more. My nearest is Daru Chini these days, and the food from there trumps anything I have ever had in town.

My point exactly..... having a bloody good clean in time for re-inspection is very different to "appealing" an inspection and getting it overturned which is what they are insinuating.

The former, which I believe to be the case, shows that they were shocking and got caught out so sorted it out damn quick, the later makes it sound like the council inspectors were wrong and the restaurant was all fine....

We both enjoy the finest foods we can, yet I bump into you in places like KFC! How does that work then?

Why is this place so busy? Went last night, (not my choice) and I am absolutely convinced they just buy industrial size Homepride cook in sauces and add some undistinguishable type of meat. All of it, VILE
