Most of our campus is in Stoke - it's where the majority of our facilities are, and the majority of our students - it always has been. I'm sorry to leave Stafford, but it's more like a college campus then a university campus here at the moment. I really can't wait to be all in one place, and the opportunities for collaboration that will emerge and that we can stop spending money on duplicating facilities. We'll be closer to a major train station, there's more support for alumni wanting to set up ventures after graduating and it means all of the students will mix together. Cost effective housing and more social life opportunities are part of that.
On the basis my recruitment numbers seem to be up the quiet life of Stafford is not the draw people kept telling me it was.
And you don't have to deal with Stafford Borough Council - win win
