Tonight, I had my first sample of this - from a local (local to where I am, that is) craft brewer.
It's a pale ale, in the style of the product of a brewery that existed in the town until the mid-1960s.
Unfortunately, Diageo now own the name of that and were reluctant for it to be used.
The name he's using is that of the old Barony that was the area around here - although it ceased to have any official function after 1846, so he should be safe with that.
It was a very pleasant drink after the 'summer evening' that today was here.
The original plan was to launch onto the market last March, but "events" have delayed that.
He does, however, have a few other irons in the fire to keep him busy - his main occupation is being the local funeral director.
