I feel like I'm in an alternate universe when dealing with either of the local councils. They're all so disconnected from residents it's unbelievable.
Can anyone help me please. I've struggled to get my local Councillor engage in increasing the provision of bins in the North end so have gone direct to SBC and logged a request. The local Councillor told me it was pointless providing more bins as 'no one would use them'. Well they won't if you don't provide them you blithering idiot
So today, sick of carrying my dog poo bags for miles, I've logged a request for bins with SBC. True to my zero expectations the girl on the phone appeared to have no idea where I was referring to so I've had to create an account on the SBC portal to correct it but I digress.
I've requested they replace the bin that was removed with the new road, at the junction of the lines and the Doxey Rd, and also add one on the new road, Pans. I'm also going to ask for one on the Eccleshall Rd bridge by the allotments for the chavs that use McDonald's and then spew their litter all along that area as they walk home to hopefully use
If anyone would like to also log an incident requesting new bins in these areas I would be massively grateful for the support. Its no wonder Stafford is covered in bags of dog shit and litter give the scarcity of bins.
Girl on phone also told me that the Street scene manager decides on new bins, nothing to do with needs of residents then. My god!
TIA
