No, the reason I want them to stand is so I can have another debate with a librarian, because I would bet the library's public internet connection blocks the BNP website whilst letting us view the website of Other Political Parties.
Sorry to wee on your bonfire, but the library do not have the BNP website blocked.
Good. My work here is done. :)

You're going to have to come up with another reason for wanting them to stand!
No, that was pretty much my only reason. :)

The library do, however, have Redwatch blocked - which the BNP claim to have nothing to do with anyway. I can't even see my own pictures!
Redwatch aren't a legal paid-up political party, they're a bunch of twisted oiks. Thus I feel no need to extend them the rights of a LPuPP.
Now, the right to free speech, even for twisted oiks...

Organise and host a meeting with them and LMHR so you can publicly debate viewpoints and beliefs. May not achieve anything, but it might achieve something. You never know.
This would never happen. By allowing them a platform to speak, it legitimises the BNP - which is exactly what they want!
AFAIK they're legitimate and democratically elected. Unless you have evidence otherwise? Evidence of voter intimidation, count rigging or the like?

Lunar Scorpion said:
The BNP are trying to come across as respectable politicians - councillors hardly ever speak in council meetings (that's if they turn up to them!) because a lot of them have orders to keep their traps shut, in case they say something that might be what they actually think...
Says...?

Lunar Scorpion said:
Also, presumably, so that they don't come out with such things as Steve Batkin's contribution to one Stoke on Trent City Council meeting: "What does 'abstain' mean?" - I shiz you not.
Really? :o Does that appear in any minutes anywhere; a local version of Hansard or whatever?

Indeed, that is a fine picture of N. Griffin. How about a video - have you seen this little gem? Nick Griffin stars between 0:48 and 1:41, although you may find the background information useful.
Great; wheel that and similar out. Get them broadcast. Put attributed linked quotes from them in your signature.

They are legitimate, you just disagree with their policies and beliefs (as do I), but by the same token I could see the Labour Party as illigitimate because I disagree with the majority of their policies and undoings of this country. By offering them a platform from which to speak you offer yourself an opportunity to debate the hell out of them, and if you chose your words carefully humiliate them in the presense of the pubic whose votes they so desperately crave.

wow, 10 results within 3 miles of my postcode! it only shows 1 results per postcode as well, so there are actually a couple more than that who don't show up because they share the same postcode as someone else..

I have had a read this thread and this list.

I think you'd all agree; forming any sort of hate campaign against the names on that list would probably see you dying of irony. Instead I think we should offer some assistance (hear me out). Most of the large social hubs i.e. FaceBook, MySpace, etc have their search facilities and API's open to developers. So my idea is this:

Create a mashup using these social hubs and a copy of this list to help single bigots hook up with likeminded others. We could call it Date-Race.

Spread a bit of love between these misguided souls and maybe they'll see the error of their ways...

Plus we could fill it with AdSence and make a few quid? Any developers out there that are interested PM me :P

We don't need to humiliate them, they do that enough for themselves - and there are better ways to humiliate them...

My fantasy is having people in LMHR tee shirts pose with Nick Griffin. It might work if they were wearing coats and opened them at the last minute... That would be ace!

i figure it's ok to post this link, since:

Before you threaten legal action I have been advised by my legal representitives that all information held on this site is already in the public domain and all of this information is in the direct interest of the public.
the main reason i am posting it is because of some of the lols that can be had reading the responses he has got from some people on the list!

edit: i've just done a whois on the domain, and it's exactly the same details as the old website which i mention in this post, which has now been shut down.. if those really are his details (which he claims they are in some of the comments) then he is very brave/stupid!

I've just been browsing the BNP website and the response of Nick Griffin to the leak. A reply to Griffin's statement said:

"I look forward to a fair, democratic and free society one day in the futre, maybe under a BNP government instead of this current fascist totalitarian state"

I know I shouldn't, but this really made me giggle.

WTF? Surely he's not serious? I know the Labour government is a crock of the preverbial and they are slowly but surely destorying everything good, decent, honest and British about our beautiful island and rich heritage, but for the BNP leader to come out with that is fantastic. //goes off to look for a pot calling the kettle black orientated smiley

It wasn't Griffin. It was a response to his statement from one of his supporters. But laughable all the same.
So it is, mis read that, but yes funny nonetheless!
