On a similar note I got an email to say that my insurance had run out from Direct Line whilst I was driving to Tewkesbury last weekend.

The reason my old policy ran out was because Direct Line don't give you the cheapest option on their own renewal quote and it's always cheaper to get a new quote.

I had a worrying hour or so's driving before I could access my email account fully to check that I'd paid the new policy.

Why can't insurance companies just give you the cheapest quote (which I thought they were supposed to nowadays) and why can't they link the old policy with the new one?

Still pissed off there wasn't any MK3 Ford Cortinas on show.
There were a couple of Cortina keyrings, but the ones on my Bobs key are better quality than those.

But it just looks like an ordinary oldish car to me.
Old Fords are increasing in value. There is a real collectors market for them. Some Mk 1 Fiestas like the SuperSport can sell for £25,000 or more.

That reminds me that I passed my driving test in a Ford Fiesta thirty-nine years ago.

Out on a multiple mission today - I discovered a good bit of an Austin 7, I think.
