Comedy at The MET Special

The Kevin bridges at the Met was really good. I love going to see comedy at the Gatehouse and have seen loads of fantastic acts there. The one time I remember an act crashing and burning was Roisin Conaty in the MET. Unfortunately I was one of a 24 strong audience and that it felt like an evening in the pub, unfortunately she didn't appreciate so few turning out to watch her.

I went to see Danny Bhoy in the big room and only 100 or so turned up, he looked a bit gutted. It made the event a bit more intimate though and led to a lot more audience participation, which I'm a fan of.

Just a heads up...

I went to buy tickets for The Met 28th March...a whole month away and she said they only had 28 left ..and I bought 10.

I know some people here like to go so if you havent bought your tickets yet, dont leave it until the last minute.

I am going to see a comedian do a warm up gig there on Tuesday, it sold out in 2 minutes. I so wonder if she will also be appearing on Saturday, her actual tour dates include a visit to The Met next year.

I've seen her in stand up a couple of times and I found here to be very funny. Not on a par with the late, great Dave Allen or if I'm being more up to date, Lee Mack though.
