Despite ringing 119 early this morning , and them agreeing I've had my booster ...... Had a text through at 12.05 telling me that I'm eligible for a Covid-19 booster vaccination , but not yet had one! Call 119 , book on-line or go to walk in centre to book a time that suits me......Think 119 operator must be bored and just fancied another chat. You COVID junkie
Had one of those today even though I've already had booster and details are correct on my COVID Pass.Despite ringing 119 early this morning , and them agreeing I've had my booster ...... Yes that's rightI read that as you test positive for covid but it doesn't flag up as being Omicron?
It’s a very misleading headline as it makes it sounds like we can’t detect it at all, bit of irresponsible journalism for clickbaits reallyYes that's right
More measures that apply to 'us' but not to 'them'. He can FRO this time if he thinks I'm not seeing my family and friends (suitably LFTd on the day, obvs).Boris announcing new restrictions tonight.
Can't imagine why....
Hospital occupancy is the main (only?) criterion.Given we're (mostly) all vaccinated now, completely staying away from loved ones does seem a bit unnecessary assuming people are careful, like you say. Otherwise what was the point in having the vaccine?
The only thing that would really dissuade me from cautiously seeing family/friends would be the hospital admissions. That's the thing with Omicron, really in that even if it doesn't turn out to be a worse illness, it's increased transmissibility makes it likely that the NHS will put under great strain again.
I did have another gig lined up next week but I've decided against going as a precaution, because of the uncertainty. Just to play safe. Bought a ticket for one in late January, though, so hopefully things will be a bit clearer by then.
