Widely reported on various platforms today. Just another on a list of things that cumulatively mount up.
Overall, following a first dose of the AstraZeneca jab there were 5.8 excess GBS cases per million doses of vaccine, equating to an absolute total excess between January and July of between 98 and 140 cases.

During this time the fatality rate for the unvaccinated was more than double that of the vaccinated, I prefer those odds.

There has been an association of GBS with the flu vaccine since the 70s, although there is also a risk of developing it as a result of having influenza.

Multiply that risk across all the increasing list of effects.
After all the years of the monkey pox virus showing as the the monkey pox virus they’ve started changing the nhs site info of what it does and how you get! A pound to a pinch of shit there will be more cross over with that list of effects!

Yes. That's the entirety of the point being made, why are they wearing masks.

Some of his followers in the comments are like "he's just asking a reasonable question, they might have a good reason" when he's being accused of mocking them, but IMHO reasonable vs mocking comes down to the difference between the questions "why are YOU wearing masks?" and "why are THEY wearing masks?"
Good grief, it's personal choice.... How rediculous! 🤔

It does seem a lottery, some people I know got covid and were fine (including my 98 year old nan, twice!) and others have been hit like it's a truck. Best of luck with the meds.

I had it a couple of months ago and it wasn't anywhere near what I'm experiencing this time. Meds situation has been a bit of a comedy of errors but hopefully will be medicating by teatime.

Lots of misleading headlines at the minute confusing low rates of covid testing with low levels of infection.

According to the ONS data:

In May 2021 the prevalence was 1 in 1,120.
In May 2022 the prevalence is 1 in 60.

If my maths is correct (and don't count on it!) then the current rate of infection is almost 19x higher than this time last year.

2 months ago we were averaging the same number of hospitalisations as the first wave, luckily its dropping again.
