The new variants are strains of Omicron, which means the new bivalent vaccines should, theoretically, be much more effective against them.

Time will tell.

After our immediate household has managed to dodge covid since it began.....minime has tested posative today. Middle son tested posative yesterday, and as we had a family gathering at the weekend we've all tested.....minime & I have the same symptoms, although I'm still negative, and the carer is just starting to feel unwell to...


After all this time of avoiding it!

Tiredness, banging head, sore throat & cough. Minime said she felt sick all night too last night.

Although, I'm still getting over a cold ive had for the last few weeks, so I'm hoping it's just that. But we were all together at a family do at the weekend, and I spent most of the morning trapped in the bathroom with minime dying her hair purple for a Halloween party that she should have been going to tonight. (She had tested negative before we started).
