I spent a lot of my childhood down in Poole - I'd love to be able to afford to live on Sandbanks.

One day, Shoes, one day....

I suggest Premiership management for six years

Pulis and Redknap as neighbours confirm the path

Whilst the three you mention maybe OK to visit, unless you are a wealthy home owner I can imagine they are also shitholes if you are there in bedsitland and on minimum wage.

This could be said of anywhere of course, but at least in Stafford the extreme wealth isn't always on show and rammed down your throat.

Stoke is just crap.
( and yes of course there are some lovely people there bit its still crap , but so is Smethwick, Hull, West Bromwich, Stocton and Runcorn

It is a possibly little known fact that the 'Chipping' element of Chipping Norton refers to it being a market, and is cognate with both 'cheap' and 'shop'.

It is also possibly little known that Runcorn was, like Stafford, founded by Æthelflæd.

It is a well known fact that i ought to get out more.

If you live in a bedsit and are content to live on minimum wage then you are evidently either happy with your lot or have no aspirations to make a success of your life.

Indeed if you were hard up there would be more opportunity to better your lot in places like York. It wouldn't exactly take much capital to set up a venture doing historic tours, boat trips or stickleway tours.

When I walk down The Bishops Avenue do I feel resentment ? No I think that one day I would like to live there.

If only I had realised it was so easy to improve myself & my circumstances.......off to whittle myself a boat using the cherry tree at the bottom of the garden & my penknife...back soon.

You'll need to dredge the Sow first if you're going to offer that kind of service round here.

I used to be an otter-spotter. I put a few holts in around the place over the years..

..so it's my fault that they're eating all the fish..
