Does anyone know..?......Just ask a question.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Thats a really good deal, although we wouldn’t particularly want to travel to Telford.

This deal works out at £12 per month with unlimited viewing so we think its a good offer.
Why don't you have a look at a list of films that have come out in the past 12 months and see how many of those you'd have gone to.

Ah but that’s not the point.

It‘s the idea of deciding to go and see things that we wouldn’t necessarily buy a ticket for, opening our minds to new things.
Deciding that Thursday (for example) is cinema night and go and see something regardless. Make a night of it, or an afternoon. Bowling, meal, drinks, cinema. Or whatever.

After 7 years volunteering at The Gatehouse I’ve seen things that I never would have bought a ticket for and yet thoroughly enjoyed. It’s made me more open to giving things a go.

I hadn’t realised that the cinema had got so expensive.
I'm fairly confident that I haven't been in a cinema more that 30 times in my whole life. The last time was for either True Lies or Cool Runnings.

Before that, it would have been Britannia Hospital in 1982.

Former cinemas more often though.

Bit late but Odeon Limitless is well worth it. You only have to see two movies a month to make up the cost (on my deal which is about £18) and the only limit is you can’t book more than 4 in advance. But you could literally go every day for the whole month if you wanted, or multiple times every day (though there are not enough new movies to do that, obviously).

It also makes it an easier decision to see films you might not like if you’re not paying for it.

Thanks @SketchyMagpie

We‘ve bought Limitless Plus today because they had a 20% off offer on which ended today but it was £143 each for the whole year which works out at £12 each per month. We definitely think it’s good value and we know that we are going to get our moneys worth.
We did pay up front for the year rather than a direct debit but I prefer that.

Does anyone know why my WhatsApps have all disappeared?
They were there one minute and gone the next.
I tried to turn the phone off and on again but it won’t turn off either.

I think they can be set to delete after a set period of time or after X numbers of messages.

I've had strange things happening on WhatsApp the past couple of days...

Yesterday mid typing saying ' missed voice call' , and showing several contacts in red as having called ( including our family group chat so knew for deffo it wasn't right).

Then a notification tonight , but nothing there..
Then another about a minute after message came through , but couldn't open anyone's messages.

Took hubby to send me a test whattsapp to kick it back to normal.

Does anyone know, or know anyone who might know, what happened to all the artefacts from The Wragge Museum.

The Wragge museum was originally in The Borough Hall with a library then it all got moved to the Library on the Green (The Carnegie Library).

I know that the library itself moved to the centre of town but I’m curious what happened to the museum artefacts.

I may have heard it said that the stuff went to Shugborough, until a suitable venue could be found for it.

It sounded uncomfortably 'White Lion'...

I‘ve found out a lot about the man himself (Clement Lindley Wragge), a man ahead of his time if ever there was one.

But no amount of googling let’s me find anything after it went to The Carnegie.

The uncertainty has been ongoing for rather too long a time now, I fear.

I would hope the fear is unfounded.
