Pretty sure this actually a modern take on a ritual to summon Nyarlathotep

Enjoying a drop of red.
Adding Ice Valet to that list, he details mine after my previous valet vanished after the first job (and cost twice the price of Ice) and does a cracking job
Aha. My neighbour has been badgering me for ages to recommend him a mobile valet to clean his cars, because 'I know about car things'. Didn't have a clue who to say he should use but I do now 👍

He was a recommendation from a client who has him wash far more expensive cars than mine. I figured if he trusts him with a Ferrari…

Stayed at a hotel once that had two private beaches and a guy who's job it was to go around twice a day offering to clean guest's sunglasses.

I need to fashion a 'thing' that floats on the surface of the pond, to keep floating plants away from the filter intake. Ideally have an internal dimension of 200mm+ and square. Guessing I just make something out of wood?

Some repurposed expanded polystyrene packing may be more durable than wood?

Similar train of thought, but now considering the roots trailing under water.

Any thoughts on using aluminium in a freshwater environment? Or more specifically a magnesium alloy? I have some of these sheets left over from a mouse intervention, AFAIK aluminium is safe unless in highly acidic liquid but unsure as an alloy?

Most alloys will be OK, but the odd one can just disintegrate fairly quickly. If you have the time, hang a bit in the water for a while and see what happens.

I remember a chap once making some nice garden furniture from angle that he found in the skip - looked great, but fell to pieces in weeks.
