I think dogs blog has more puppies, genuine hardy mongrels desperate for homes.Lots here, sadly you'll notice it's the same few breeds that crop up time and again.
Good luck with your search to give a kitten a new home . Glad you will be keeping any addition as an indoor cat to keep them safe.Having lost our Charlie boy (male cat) recently..were looking to maybe re-home a new kitten..my preference is black & male as they're often overlooked through superstition, please don't suggest rescues as we are only one Rd away from a busy a Rd & they will refuse us ..this cat/kitten will be an indoor only cat ( the same as our 2 girls) so no danger of traffic...

I went to Labrador rescue depends on what type of dog you want i supposeThanks, yes we are looking into it!
I contacted a few rescues during covid, 2 flat out refused me any time as I didn't have a 6 foot fence enclosing my entire back garden, can't remember on the reason we didn't visit the third but I think it was because we both had jobs. Gave up looking at shelters after that.Having lost our Charlie boy (male cat) recently..were looking to maybe re-home a new kitten..my preference is black & male as they're often overlooked through superstition, please don't suggest rescues as we are only one Rd away from a busy a Rd & they will refuse us ..this cat/kitten will be an indoor only cat ( the same as our 2 girls) so no danger of traffic...
I don't think rescues have a blanket ban if the cat is an indoor one. I'd try Tracy's kitty cat rescue Walsall way. Had my last 2 from there, black and white males for the same reason, with minimal invasive judgey pre-adoption questions. They have a FB page but I have no idea how to link!Having lost our Charlie boy (male cat) recently..were looking to maybe re-home a new kitten..my preference is black & male as they're often overlooked through superstition, please don't suggest rescues as we are only one Rd away from a busy a Rd & they will refuse us ..this cat/kitten will be an indoor only cat ( the same as our 2 girls) so no danger of traffic...

We didn't even get to the point of looking, COVID made that more difficult anyway but we were told at the outset rear garden enclosed by 6 foot fence is required.Should depend on the breed really. A sausage dog isn't going to get over a normal sized fence. The lady who was fostering my greyhound had much lower fences than me.
But might tunnel under it.A sausage dog isn't going to get over a normal sized fence
My wife is talking ALOT about fostering, I know her game, I know exactly her game.I suggested that to hubby for us , but he knows too well that once over the the door step I'd be a failed fostered and fostered pooch was going nowhere else!
You are aware that if you find a Puppy/Dog, a lot of us on here would like to see photos? A few photos. Please
Exactly what I said on December 4th.My wife is talking ALOT about fostering, I know her game, I know exactly her game.
