OK.... as a big fan of eating out for breakfast can anyone recommend the towns best provider of Eggs Benedict??

Already a fan of Frankie & Bennys more corporate offering. Anywhere else?

How do I edit this?
@Wormella is something of an expert on breakfasting in Stafford as she's goes out to breakfast with a friend once a week. I seem to recall good reviews of the Eggs Benedict at The Swan, but can't find their breakfast menu online.

If I remember correctly, spoons do a pretty good offering too, and I think it's on the menu of the Post House - but the Swan has been the best we've come across so far.

Wetherspoons do an absolutely horrid attempt at this, that should be avoided at all costs.
A friend of mine is one of the 'chefs' there. The eggs arrive pre-cooked in a little plastic pouch...perfect to pop into the microwave for 30 seconds.

Perfect, if you don't know what a poached egg is. Eggs Benedict is one of my all-time faves...and when it's done properly...well...

If you microwave eggs (scrambled)
As far as I'm concerned, you can't make scrambled eggs in a microwave. You can make fluffy, tasteless eggs in a microwave...but you can also make creamy AND fluffy scrambled eggs in a saucepan, in the same amount of time!

spoons are ok, if you want a great egg dish, huevos rancheros at the bean encounter is excellent.
