It seems likely, does it not, that the throbbing indicates that you are both on-line and on the current page (if that is the correct terminology)?

No, there is no distinction - you either have a green dot (online) or you don't (offline or hidden). I guess some people may not see the pulse if they have an older browser or something.

I've given up throbbing, it was too big and spoiling my avatar, Ive shown it to all the women in my house and they said it was better hidden.

Bugger, its still throbbing, well sort of a slow pulse, (and I have a heart pacemaker to cure that).
I thought i had turned it off with unticking "Show online status". is it just me that can see it?

Just you and the admin team.

You can now do your throbbing in relative privacy.

Hmm, the throbbing is distracting I don't like it being up all the time.
Well if its going to annoy me all the time, I shall show it to every one in
all its pulsing glory.

Gaze upon it's mighty glory all yee lesser mortals and despair.

I can't see you throbbing - perhaps it's too small.

It may have taken some time to subside, after you tried to stop it - like the colours in my Control Icons.

Oh it's quite definitely throbbing, in fact I can see a ring expanding around it, I can see mine getting much bigger than yours, :D it could be because of the back ground. :D

@Admin The last day or so I've been getting a message saying 'a problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded' on my iPad. At first it would reload once and the problem was sorted, today though it's been getting worse and having to load several times before I can view threads and some threads are just unviewable.

I've cleared the cache etc but to no avail. All other websites are working as normal. This problem isn't happening on android or windows PC.

I am now seeing a mobile version of the website on my 27" iMac. It's really IN YOUR FACE.....

Anddddddd it then changed back to normal after quitting Safari - twice for some weird reason. Bizarre.
