Today we'll be making our first collection of your unwanted gear from Stafford tip, and every weekend from now onwards, as part of our collaboration with Staffs County Council's TechCycle project.
If you have equipment we can potentially re-use, even if it's broken, you can now drop those to the GREY BIN in the on-site I.T. container.
If you're unsure, just ask the staff, who are all clued up on our scheme, or look out for our signs.
We'll be doing the same at Cannock tip, with other sites to come.

Today we helped 3 vulnerable young people get back on their feet through referral from our friends at Staffordshire County Council

We've reached a point where we have to devote some extra time to assessment of our incoming donated items and then wait on parts, so our outgoing numbers might sit stale for a few days.

It's thanks to your kind donations and the generosity of our sponsors that we've been able to buy replacement batteries for these two poorly laptops.

Now chugging away happily under their own steam and ready to change two lives.

Thank you also to the lovely people who donated these laptops and allowed us to save them from e-waste.

We've been busy bunnies today out delivering last minute life changing gadgets so that 5 young people can wake up with an extra gift tomorrow, one of opportunity.
But that really is it now, we're "wrapping up" for the break.

All of us here at Free I.T. HQ wish to pass on our utterly shocked condolences to the family of Big Dan, owner of Clearly I.T Solutions, who was instrumental in changing several lives by donating equipment to us regularly through his business.
We are gobsmacked, and we share in others' confusion, as to how such a booming personality has been taken so soon, so young.
Whatever your beliefs, please join us in thinking of his loved ones.
