You're really not very bright, are you Perry?

Like a lot of Labour supporters, you've not realised that if Labour are to win the election you've actually got to persuade Tory voters to vote for you.

Whilst it might raise your morale to some extent, insulting them isn't really going to do it, is it?

Still, if it makes you feel good .....

1. Bright enough to never ever vote for the conservatives ;)

2. i realise that with labours current leader, they will never get into power , therefor my vote would go have to the strongest party to oppose the conservative party .

3. you are correct , it doesnt raise my morale , however i did get more likes then you :)

I like their leader, and to win 2 leadership contests most Labour members who cared about it do too. But that said I'll vote whoever looks strongest to beat conservative, round here that is looking to be Labour.

I note that you didn't answer my point that in order to win the election, Labour will have to persuade Tory voters to vote for them, and that insulting them doesn't really do it.

Maybe you see Labour, in this election at least, as a lost cause. (Hence, I guess, all the Labour promises that they'll never be called upon to implement.)

From the Football forum I'm on ....

When the Red Box did their 1997 retrospective podcasts, one of the interviewees talked about a session Blair did with some members in Liverpool. It was a bit feisty, and one of the members had a go at him, along the lines of: "I know what you're doing, you're just trying to get Tories to vote for us."

And he smiled and said: "Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing"

This ignorance of the fact that you can only win by getting people who have previously voted Tory to support you is farking insane to me. We have had one Labour leader win elections in the last 38 farking years, yet he is viewed as the anti-Christ

Not really, I'm not sure of many constituencies where they got over 50% of the vote?

Unfortunately it's a view shared by many, but unlike the conservatives at least they have policies that benefit people and a lot can be paid for by reversing the cuts in corporation tax. That is about 70bn a year that May has handed her mates isn't it?

Yes, it seems that Corporation Tax is going to pay for everything should Labour win. (You'd better hope that Diane Abbott wasn't the one responsible for producing the figures.)

Anyway, enjoy this from the LibDems. It's from a few weeks ago, so there may be a few more since.

I'm not sure you grasp the amount of money the conservatives have gifted away with corporation tax, and they've cut our services to the bone to pay for it. How much do you think each of those will cost? A few billion each? If so it's covered.

Also tax on private education, raising tax on those earning over 80k, and more people will pay tax due to an increased minimum wage.

I don't really (grasp .....). Maybe Labour's manifesto will provide the details, though it should be said that setting out expected receipts from taxes is one thing and receiving them is quite another. (This may be a common misconception, but aren't tax receipts under the Tories always greater than those under Labour?)

The point about Labour always saying Corporation Tax would pay for their spending plans was made on Sky to Jess Phillips (I think) this morning and rather than confirm this, she said to refer to the manifesto when it comes out.

Labour cant persuade Tory voters to vote for them , they are too blind to see anything other than a strong and stable BREXIT .

( whilst the focus is on that , the conservatives are going about their business selling off what they can of the NHS to the highest paying US health firms.)
the part that disgusts me in that , is that i have a relative who has had a baby with a heart condition not being able to access the medication required after her op due to the cost now being too expensive.
im not even going go into the details of what a disabled person has to do to actually prove they are ill and not a scrounger , but believe me its not nice being driven to the point where you want to take your own life.

the fact of the matter is this with brexit , you are going to get shafted remaining in the EU or you are going to get shafted by the conservatives out of the EU.
not much choice in any direction in my opinion.

So labour, greens , any party thats a strong opposition to the conservatives will get my vote.
