Improved tenfold since it was the local shop.Hi,
It's been a little while!
Before I colour, add the street name, mount and frame this one, anyone guess/know the location of this beautiful home?
Not knowing whether it was ever a local shop, I don't know if your guess is right!Improved tenfold since it was the local shop.
The Post Office closed in 2004, I believe. Not knowing whether it was ever a local shop, I don't know if your guess is right!
If you are right and this was the local shop then, Wow.
Is the old postmaster still on this mortal coil? I didn't like the man, always came across as slimey. And, when we lived up on Baxter Green, the ex once caught his daughter peeping thru our letterbox, cancelled the papers after that. The Post Office closed in 2004, I believe.
The old post office in Jerningham Street.Castletown.
That's the one, the lovely (so, so lovely!) building on the corner of Jerningham St and Doxey Rd, Castletown.
Being a bit of a Stafford newbie, I had no idea it was ever a Post Office.
