Karma II indian restaurant

That really is a terrible loss to the Stafford curry scene. I've honestly not had a better curry in the last 10 years than the one that I had in there the 1st time I went.

I was intending to try it on the basis of glowing reports on here.

You have to say though, to be in that part of town and not sit diners in the window is a bit dim. I'm no marketing expert mind....

I liked not sitting near the window, not sure I'd want passers by looking at my food and salivating on the windows! That is a bad position though, no company lasts long there :(

I booked a table for 20 people for this for 3 weeks time, any other suggestions on where to take people, something not overly expensive and in middle of time but decent food

Sorry I would use you, as I have done for my birthday in the past, but my colleagues want curry

Malabar is the best one I've been to in Stafford. Shame didn't get change to try Karma...

Stafford Balti does it for me, beer from The Coach saves on Malabar drinks prices and the food is pretty damn good in my book, their Tandoori Murgh Massala is tops.
Malabar is great for a cosy meal for two, but wouldn't want a party there.

Been to lots of parties at malabar, in fact I think it's how they deal with parties which sets them apart from every other curry house in the town.

Personal opinion, of course.

Yes we had a cake on the house at a party I went to last week there. The house win is only £7 a bottle too, which works out cheaper than the soft drinks generally.

Karma II isn't shut!!!

I know someone who ate there on Saturday night.

It would be a sad day if it did shut as it is without doubt the finest curry house in the borough :)

That honestly is the best news I've heard in a while! Will be getting myself there quick-sharp.
It was looking bad - great to have some good news in the end, though..

Excellent! Any ideas about the message in the window? So glad they are up and running again, cos I just had a curry from SD again thinking they were closed. Next time I order from Karma :)
