Over the years whenever I've taken anyone to the Black Lion for the first time, on almost every occasion I've had "How the (insert expletive of choice) did you find this place?"

A long while back we had a boat and would stop there a couple of times a year. I went in after about an 18 month gap and was greeted with "Where the bloody hell have you been". Ethel was it? Changed a lot since those days.
