It's quite scary to not merely realise but see them openly manifest how little they think of the electorate. They don't want to win the next election, who wants to rule a broke country with no assets?

They've stolen plenty, and they know that there will be no personal consequences for them.

Yup, but even so I thought they'd at least make a vague pretence at hiding it. The really don't care, we can see what they are and they don't care. And you know what really disgusts me? A large percentage of the population will watch their futures flushed away, their children's futures in tatters, all they scrimped and saved all their lives for worthless, and still vote for them again.
