Fear and loathing

People, not us obviously!, forget that phobia is fear , mistaking it for hate

So homo, is a genus, mainly of humans . Phobia a fear. And the High Street is where they gather in numbers

Given that I fear quite a large number of humans, Tele sales, politicians, people who watch The Voice,, psychopaths, golfers, anyone in fact in a V neck sweater ( male ) what does that make me?

You don't know much about finance do you. You haven't considered dark pools of liquidity. Most asset management is passive and based on tracking indexes, even if hedging is used to ensure a fund tracks the underlying there is little chance of a large reallocation since this would necessitate large changes in the index being tracked. Even then in a beta fund is acceptable.
Quantitative funds model this closer and seek alpha. With dark pools there is a lot more liquidity the only difference is you aren't aware of them.

Couldn't that description apply to any decade since the 1940s? And probably for many before that as well except people were better at hushing things up then.

Yet we still KBO and the world never quite seems to stop spinning...

An abstaining politician is worse than a non-voter, they are elected because they are supposed to get involved for us. The fact that no Labour member voted tells me they have a few corpses in the closet themselves and want to be treated comparatively when found.

Really poor road repair. Stafford's roads aren't nearly as bad as they could be!! In fact why don't the Council start digging potholes, I'm sure it would be safer than spraying a bit of tar on the road and chucking a bit of cat litter on top.
