looking for somewhere to be baptised (outdoor)

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
Presumably he's not planning on doing it just at the moment as I'm sure the NHS could do without having to deal with a case of self-inflicted pneumonia.

Thanks guys - i think the essex bridge is going to be the spot - its unlikely that i will be there but if folk are interested i can most likely link you to some pics or a video of it! So if you are of the praying variety.... why not pray for a touch of the warm stuff tomorrow!

Oh good grief, you mean THIS Saturday, not just Saturdays in general? Well, given the forecast for this weekend, God help him.

Can you be baptised in a wetsuit?

Can you be baptised in a wetsuit?
In Bridport, they use the advanced technology of the bucket..

God help him.
I believe that that is the general idea.

Circa 20% of your sins will not be washed away if you adopt this method.

However you will survive to sin again.

Tough call.

It sounds a little like the Salem test, though in this case with pneumonia as the indicative factor. the sufficiently pure emerge with just a sniffle.

it does sound a little like taht Flossietoo but i can assure you that is not the case!
Bob - We do have a big inflatable pool for summer baptisms but this is obviouly keen to be old school (and to be fair getting baptised in what is essentially a paddling pool isnt gonna look as good on the pics!)

Gramaisc - its going to be what is called full immersion baptism, he will go back and fully under with the aid of two guys to ensure he comes straight back up.

SO in a sense it will be full immersion at shugborough and then immersion on full at home!

I hope it stays milder than anticipated for the young man and as the rather wonderful (and subject of my first crush) Dave Allen would have it, may your God go with you. Along with thermals and a big jumper.

Is the young man a student at university or at Stafford College?
If the latter, please can you ensure that he takes blankets, coffee and hot water bottles? Only Ofsted take a dim view of colleges mislaying students and I am not sure whether there is a category for "Withdrawal due to baptismal complications".
