They have now driven off going the wrong way up the high street 😠
A glance at the current Street View suggests, to be 'fair', that, if they have managed to enter via Market Street, then there may be little, if any, subsequent information suggesting that the main street is actually one-way.

Oh, I'm not defending them, by any means. It just occurred to me that 'we' know it is, but, if you can sneak in when the Market Street bollards are down, as they often seem to be, although the sign is still there, obviously, then you have little to go on in terms of determining the 'right' exit route.

don't mention the blinds
Victor Value once traded in Market Street and was visited by Bob Monkhouse doing an Egg promotion thing. Allegedly some eggs were broken in the crush.

I may have mentioned this previously.....

Wow, what a mess they’ve made on the slabs Santander / Lloyds side, surly the council are not excepting this?

Hope this time we’ll be left with a plentiful variety of spare slabs to replace any cracked / damaged ones - rather than filling in with tarmac.

I'm sure shoppers visiting the half dead high street appreciate the new slabs. I'm sure the residents of Sandon Road think it was a better choice than solving their flooding issues.
