I've used the Railway twice during the past three days, but not the Greyhound since May last year nor the Harrows at Coven for a few years.

Very sad.
"the lane up to the pub off Himley Road between Dudley and Himley had been blocked, leaving firefighters unable to get their vehicles up close to the blaze".
The new owner might now find it easier to get planning consent for conversion to uses other than a public house.

How fecking convenient, at least in the good old days they pretended it was 'a bad thing' and would fine you a few grand when you were caught out. I guess with our current overlords getting away with anything they want without repercussions it was bound to start filtering down.
