The Stafford Smell is unusually pungent today

What was it though?

I live in a farming village so I’m well used to country smells of all sorts.

But visiting Aldi at 5.00pm, I wasn’t used to village country farming smells venturing so far afield.

Used to smell it on Wildwood as I lived on the perimeter by the fields. The nearby farmers fields/woods used to have pipes coming out of the ground with the fumes from whatever it was that was spread on there ( was once told marmite extracts, but no idea if true)

Do not read @Lucy's post in isolation, be sure to read the post above it first.

I dunno, it didn’t smell like the usual poo smell

Got told off by staff in Worcester Tip. :embarrass:😂

Launched my massive heavy Amazon box , filled with loads of other boxes, over the rail marked 'Cardboard & Paper' into the big rectangular container below.

Then heard "Oi!!!! You've thrown it in the wrong part:blah: ' Apparently should have gone into the tiny ' household skip sized' skip inside that container at the far end . Could have told me , instead of watching me do it and then giving me a b0llocking!

Then embarrassingly had to dispose of the rest of the car full in various other containers with their eyes permanently on me. ( I kept asking then "which one for this? " to prevent another telling off. Just got a rolling of eyes instead).

Seeing the dentist this morning. Woke up yesterday with gum pain and a slight swelling. Pain now up as far as my eye socket and right cheek looks like I'm sucking a golf ball. (I can actually see it in my peripheral vision) Ibuprofen doing nothing for it.

Bloody hell, that sounds nasty hope a run of strong antibiotics clears it, failing that have you considered hitting it with a bible ?

Text from Docs to book my flu jab in surgery on 7th Oct.
Long time to dread that needle now....chose the earliest 9.32am slot to get it over with that day!

Asking for a neighbour who is in Stafford just now

Are there police / ambulance training vehicles doing the rounds this week?

Says it’s ‘noisy’

I can’t hear a thing being 3,500 miles away
