What you wear, how you look is of absolutely no relevance. If you got this twat's number you should absolutely report him. In effect what he did was attempted murder, might even have been murder if you hadn't reacted as you did.

Scum like that have no business in our society, never mind behind the wheel of a dangerous weapon.
I couldn't catch his reg sadly, at the speed he was going (I didn't have my glasses on, with the mask)

Just called Jenkinsons scrappy and the guy who answered the phone couldn't answer my query so he said he'd give me his son's mobile.

As he was about to give me the number he asked "have you got a pen by ya, Cock?" to which I responded "not by my cock no but I've got a pen in my hand".

Well I giggled to myself anyway 🤣🤣

Hoping there's at least 400 people outside the doors, ready to keep me company when I get to work.... And not the usual 4, the same 4 that would have turned up at 7am!

Been sitting in a layby just outside Melton Mowbray for an hour, waiting to deliver a secret gift for a chaps wife. Apparently she is still putting her make up on before going out. I'm thinking she should perhaps buy a bigger trowel.

He had wanted to do this on Christmas morning but I politely told him to FRO.

Merry Yule everyone!

Today I'm taking comfort from the phrase, 'As we head back into the light we look to the promise of better days.'
I'm in need of better days right now. This move has been extremely expensive both financially and personally. It looks like it's cost me my best friend. I'm hoping it blows over but she's dumped a bag of presents that she'd got for us in my Mom's porch and not said a word to either them or me means that it's not going to be soon. I think she's waiting for me to apologise but I didn't do anything wrong.
On the more upbeat side, I finally have a cooker we got it a day early. The keys are handed in for the old house. We are able to hotspot from Ade's phone luckily as our internet install has been rescheduled from tomorrow to January 12th.

Glad you're settled in. The light is already different today and that makes me always think of spring days and happier times.

So here we are at the shortest day and from tomorrow the nights start drawing out.Just 26 weeks 'til they start drawing in again so that'll be another year over.

Well, no customers were waiting this morning, but stupidly busy day, topped off by me slashing open my hand on 'something, no idea what' and not noticing it was covered in & dripping blood till a customer pointed it out.... Nearly an hour wasted on first aid (I take blood thinners, so it didn't want to stop) & first aid forms.

I did however take a punt on some super reduced flashing Christmas lights that a customer brought back as they weren't her thing...... I think they're brilliant, although they may induce seizures in some of the neighbours.....

Walking around Tamar Lake this morning I realised the shadow in front of me was as long as it could be given today is the Solstice. The Sun is at its lowest in the sky (at midday.) Figured that was worth a picture in this position as my shadow is pointing close to due North.
Hey .... cheer up folks ... Summer is coming. (Once we've got through two months of shit weather .... )

My place of work is some two miles down a single track road. There are however, plenty of field entrances etc, to make passing reasonably easy. So I'm driving up the lane to dump the lorry off and part way round a bend a car I've never encountered before (very few non locals need to use this road) approaches from the other direction.

To allow this car past, I would need to reverse the lorry round a tightish bend and then keep reversing for about 200m until I reached a passing point. For the car to reverse it would have to go round only part of an opening out bend followed by a further 25m for us to pass.

Needless to say car refuses to reverse. I cannot reverse, even if I wanted to. Bloke in car is flashing his lights and mouthing off, making me even less inclined to do anything. This continues for maybe 3 minutes and I've had enough.

So out jr and I get, lock the lorry, walk past the car to the point where he could have reversed to pull over and down that driveway to the house that's there and cadged a cup of tea off the owner, who I know quite well.

I don't know what happened to the car, but when we returned, half an hour later, it was no longer there.

And make/model of said car? Black Audi Q7, of course.

Ventured out today, for a walk in the woods.

I've never been in these woods in the winter before - in the summer, they are very verdant and have an almost sub-tropical look.

In the winter, though, there was a distinct feel of Bigfoot about the place.

My circular path did eventually bring me back to the car, not far from where the main road crosses the river.

Real friends sort out their grievances. Hell, I'm friends again with someone that was shagging my missus!

I popped in looking lost due to the poor product description I was given by my wife. I was also looking at the staff wondering which one is littleme.

Had one of the best motorway journeys ever this morning 8am-9am , when it's usually a case of stop- start crawling most of the way at that time.
J 14 to sons front door in Worcester in under an hour . Pity there were a few ( not many of those today even) 50/60 speed restrictions or could have broken all records...
Worked out lucky with a distinct lack of cars and lot fewer lorries than normal. ( I assume broke up early for Xmas, working from home, or lorry drivers isolating). His double glazing blokes turned up an hour early and followed me into his driveway.

Dropped new keys off at sons work later , and even the City traffic was flowing well.

Bloody horrendous traffic on the way back home though . My luck ran out.Everyone must have had a lie in earlier .

Today I bumped into an old friend/work colleague who I haven't seen for nearly 20 years for various unimportant reasons.

We had a really nice chat for over an hour and set a date to catch up more over a beer.

It's made my Chrimbo to see him and his wife looking so healthy and doing well.

Eldest child and his mini-mini-me (my grandson, aged 4yrs) visited tonight to collect their Christmas presents.

Mini-mini-me was allowed to open his presents (as he's off back to his mums on Friday & we won't see him again till New year.) He gave an impressive running commentary while opening his prezzies....

Top 3...

1) 'Hmmm thats not what I wanted'

2) 'What's this? Well that's trash, rubbish'

This is the best one.......

3) 'Ohhhh that's just what I wanted, I've always wanted one of these..... What is it?'

Hysterical! He loved his presents, despite the commentary.

Teatime comments included 'I don't like squeezy sauce, I want it out of a bottle...... Oooo I like squeezy sauce, it makes trumps'.

🤣🤣🤣🤣
