I couldn't find a proper post for this, sorry if it offends or upsets anyone.
We had to take our Boots to the vets yesterday, he'd been off his food for 2 or 3 days and just looked rough. Lost a bit of weight and just wasn't himself. Long story short-ish, he had a severe case of Anaemia, which the vet could do nothing about. I would have paid anything to have got him better. Anything.
Anyhow, he's now crossed the Rainbow bridge and is back playing with Puss, Sooty and Sweep.

Blow dried my hair as straight as I could get it this morning....walked to work....the result was some enormous fluffy curly bouffant that everyone told me looked amazing, but I hated.....why does my hair do this? I was so embarrassed all day, but everyone thought I had made it like that.....I HAD NOT.

It's Friday night - just go out to a pub and enjoy yourself.

There must be karaoke somewhere - you could do Bonnie Tyler stuff.

Got stuck sitting on the M5 in Devon for hours this morning waiting to get off for the A38 diversion, after an accident at 2.30am closed it northbound for a big part of the day. (Closed all day and only reopened 8pm tonight)

Joined the services loo dash/ hobble as soon as diversion route got us back on the M5.

Previously unused emergency loo/ ice cream tub under the seat (left there in case of real desperation from my cross legged uni run jams a few years ago) got a christening , with hubby being on diuretics and absolutely busting . Think I drew more attention to him whilst trying slinging stuff on top of him to hide him from view 😂:embarrass::embarrass:
