Even real cash isn't necessarily good enough. The issue isn’t the cost, it’s that unless I’ve actually planned to go to Sainsbury’s and have a quid free (don’t get me started on that £1.10 one…) I can’t park there as I have no way to pay for the parking.
It’s 2022, my wallet hasn’t seen any change in literally years
Twice this has happened to me this week, someone has given me their ticket , a lovely lady today, and a bloke earlier on in the week, people are lovely. Thank you both very much...... when a bloke going past offered me his ticket, so I could leave the car there and not have to worry about the Israeli Army blowing it up
Too many motorists passing on their tickets might make the Council think the car park isn't used much and can be closed and sold for development.Twice this has happened to me this week, someone has given me their ticket , a lovely lady today, and a bloke earlier on in the week, people are lovely. *we won't mention that I have free parking there, but as I had passengers couldn't use it.
There were two cars in the West Bank Car Park this afternoon, at 3pm, including mine.Too many motorists passing on their tickets might make the Council think the car park isn't used much and can be closed and sold for development.
Bloody machines are never working anyway, they must be loosing money hand over fist.Too many motorists passing on their tickets might make the Council think the car park isn't used much and can be closed and sold for development.
*** I had passengers, I could have dropped them and driven round to MY carpark, but I'm too lazy, and was going to get the money back if I paid anyway.*we won't mention that I have free parking there, but as I had passengers & couldn't use it.
They could just fine a few people who can't find a working machine - 'job' done.Bloody machines are never working anyway, they must be loosing money hand over fist.
I bloody love that little gap in the fence! Watched a bloke take a saw to it ages ago. He must have been as pissed off as the rest of us having to walk round with heavy bags.* Surprisingly, I thought, the little gap in the fence has been recreated there, opposite the end of Castle Street, where the brick wall ends and the fence begins - I expected to have to climb over, to avoid a long unnecessary walk.
Don't go there! We're still recovering from all the workings for the new road. We felt every single one of them pile drivings.Too many motorists passing on their tickets might make the Council think the car park isn't used much and can be closed and sold for development.
You might need to watch the sloping concrete bit in frosty weather, but, at least it's still there, I really didn't expect it to be.I bloody love that little gap in the fence! I have to watch the slopey bit in the dry, the way my knees have been lately, I have to weigh up which leg to lead on. It is so much more easier though. You might need to watch the sloping concrete bit in frosty weather, but, at least it's still there, I really didn't expect it to be.
They'd sold the space for a set time, doesn't matter who's in it?Too many motorists passing on their tickets might make the Council think the car park isn't used much and can be closed and sold for development.
The carer onece entered the wrong reg on a ticket for cinema at Newcastle, we ended up paying for 2 tickets instead of one...£16.00 ! Instead of £8.00. The film was crap too, something about zebras that the child wanted to watch ...I fell asleepUnless you get a car park with a required registration entry which is printed on the ticket. This usually leads to queues and frustration when you can't remember your plate number.
Whatever way they do it, you can bet it's the poor motorist who gets the rotating cactus shoved up their jacksi.
First came across these in a car park in Wales about 2006. They only let you enter the number not the letters. Lots of cars with 02, 03, 04 0r 05 on their tickets. Could have passed them on without much problema car park with a required registration entry which is printed on the ticket.
I had to do it once at New Cross.First came across these in a car park in Wales about 2006. They only let you enter the number not the letters. Lots of cars with 02, 03, 04 0r 05 on their tickets. Could have passed them on without much problem
The first time I encountered it, probably about 2006, I went back to note the registration number but on returning to the machine someone else had entered theirs so I'd paid for their ticket and I had to pay twice.First came across these in a car park in Wales about 2006.
