Went shopping for ' really nice stuff to eat '. Hubby decided he was coming along......after spending £60 on what he calls nice stuff...I'm going to have to go shopping on my own again tomorrow to get some proper nice goodies

I thought of you this year as I made a 'Merry Pagan Christmas' quiz at school!

I educated the little blighters about the true meaning of Christmas and the origins of many traditions within Paganism!

Went down a treat! Happy Solstice! x

I bet that went down a treat with the more “passionate” variety of Christian parents

Though that may be more an American thing

You can never buy too many pork scratchings.
Much as he loves them, we didn't even end up with them in the trolley. Whilst I was still browsing the shelves, I was made aware, by a member of staff, that he was at the tills and I had the money .... Got to be the most impatient shopper ever !

Going for all nice treats tomorrow .

So P1ssed off with hubby messaging me that he's started his diet today (yet again as a holiday is about to begin) and not to do any tea. So I walked to the Co-op and stocked up with more 'goodies' than intended for the christmas couple of days when son is back home. Had a struggle fitting it all in the fridge , but sure son will help me make a big dent in the nice big pile when he gets back later. :D Hubby can sit and gnaw at his sticks of celery before they go off out of the fridge (they've made way for more important :munch: )

Thought we were going to get wiped out whilst walking with hubby tonight. Car driver looking at christmas light display outside a house , veered towards us on the pavement :o

Finally made it to Stourbridge, the Barcelona of the West Midlands. Enjoying a pint in the Robin Hood.

I hate Sainsbury's; 23½ Wham free days and then, with just 10 hours to go, on it comes 'Last Christmas'. Only popped in to get a couple of bits as well. So close to victory, only to have it snatched away from me at the last hurdle.

It's a few minutes walk from where I'm staying with family. I've been into the town this morning , as far as I can tell they're re-enacting the Battle of the Bulge in the high street with heavily armoured shopping trolleys.

I believe that battle has been renamed, for the 21st century, as the battle of the morosely obese and now takes place on the Lidl, Poundland, Maccie D and B&M chocolate aisle battlefields :)

1st of December for me. In theory it was November as I went to see Last Christmas then.

Now got to explain to son that most of his presents have been smashed to smitherines , as hubby sat refusing to help with my dodgy arthritic hands dropping them from hoigj

I got lucky yesterday as they played a cover, which doesn’t count
