You really are 1 hell of a sarki twat, aren't you?
Not everyone wants to spend their every waking hour in a pub. Perhaps if you pulled your finger out your arse and looked up from your pint every once in a while, you'll see that some people actually care about others and are willing to spend their time helping make things just that little bit nicer for one another.
'Glam',
I thought that in times troubled by Brexit and coronavirus some lightheartedness might not go amiss on here and while Lucy, 'tek-monkey' and Carole took my posting at 12.45pm on Thursday in the spirit in which it was intended that apparently passed by 'proactive' and yourself as has the idea of good will to all men at this time of year.
You might also have missed twelve days ago the "having known the gentleman for 50 years He's been involved in number of local and national clubs and societies outside of pubs" from 'industryarch' who's probably aware that from the 1970s to 1990s not having a television gave me ample time not only for pubs - using them more than most people but not "to spend their every waking hour in a pub" - but also for thousands of hours of voluntary work including initiating fundraising projects that raised thousands of pounds and serving on the National Executive Committee of a national charity with 320,000 members.
Spending time helping make things just that little bit nicer for one another is what many people do - but some of us will only mention it when prompted.

We're being told to batten down the hatches for Storm Bella tonight. Looks like everybody is going to get a bit of it.

Had a moment of panic when someone started to hammer the front door just tonight.
Son jumped up and raced to the door.... Then raced upstairs with a parcel behind his back....my birthday present he'd ordered less than 5 hours earlier. :D
Certainly wasn't expecting any deliveries on boxing night ( and now intrigued ...reckons wasn't Amazon)

Not a bad forecast !! They say bad weather is easier to forecast. OK a 12 hour forecast these days is usually close to the mark, but this is pretty good. I can hear the wind howling through my aerials outside. Hope they're still there in the morning ....

For me 2020 has been the year of the navy star pajama bottoms - which can also pass as socially acceptable leggings.

I have worn them constantly (well I didn't have to be anywhere...) so much so that the husband actually started to notice - and almost every picture taken includes me wearing them...

Yesterday I accidentally spilt bleach on them and ruined the left knee pattern! To be fair they were starting to fall apart at the seams!

Luckily I have found a new pair with tags on eBay in my size - the last pair in the world! 6 days to go I will be on tenterhooks!!

That's how exciting 2020 has been...

Got son here for an extra day, his boss has juggled shifts when he saw his snow photos this morning.
(Just seen TV reporter stuck on a non moving snowy M5 , sons workmates videos of abandoning cars and walking to work, and doesn't look as bad down there.)
