Took Dad to Cannock yesterday to see the osteo consultant, we had quite an interesting conversation. Dad went to see an nhs physiotherapist end of last year and they told him there was nothing that could help his condition, keep taking the pain killers and no point getting an x ray. According to the specialist he needs two hips and two knees and "why have you left it this long to have something done" :grr:.

Finally got the sewing machine out in the garden and made the covers for the vans cushions.
Only took 4 years to find a nice day to do it. :o

First night disasters! Sound effects program broke down with all of the plays effects. No doorbells, phone rings or music. In all of the panic the prompt took to shouting ''DING DONG'' and ''RING RING'' :lorks: Good job its a comedy  Other than that it went rather well lol.

The annoying thing is had it been picked up he needed these things doing the end of last year he would probably still be waiting for something to be done, seems they are quite happy to keep you waiting and they are quite happy to blame you for them not picking up something that needs doing, no accountability here then, it's just your fault we failed to tell you !

That's because a significant proportion of staff simply couldn't give a toss about patients, have no pride in their work, and lack any compassion.

No no no no no My Dad is still ill so I'm worried about him as he seems to be worse :( this also means he can't help with the already short handed front of house. My youngest has tonsils like golf balls. Spawn3 was up and ready for school at 5:45am this morning as she had an accident and decided then to just get up and ready.
I've put the quilt to wash, it only had the spinning left to do when Spawn2 pipes up, what's that there? I'd forgotten to put any washing liquid in so I've had to stop it and stick it all back on again :ohno: I've kind of had enough now :(
