After watching the clock ( reflects on my ceiling) creeping round until 6.07am ..just woke up.
Just looked out to see a neighbour photographing the side of his car. Wondering if that has anything to do with the loud crashing noise I heard in the early hours :hmm:

I was going to get a sparky to install a few sockets in the living room , however it appears that stafford and rural homes ( homeworx) want to fully rewire and have arranged an inspection tomorrow due to the age of the property.
having spoke to them earlier today , it seems they will fit more sockets for me at the same time.

Thats saved me a small fortune :)

On the second day of my booze free diet . Just isn't the same sitting watching telly with a cuppa or a glass of squash :( . Only 90 minutes to last before the Co-op closes and it's too late to crack up!

It takes a couple of weeks to break the habit. I was reading somewhere that the first week or so of sleep is pretty awful if you have drunk most nights.

I've never slept much anyway, but booze helps knock me out .As a kid I used to sit looking out of the bedroom window for most of the night. (Once thought I saw a UFO, next day it was reported a copper on duty in Silkmore lane had seen one as well :D )

Given up all my other usual naughty eats as well, at least until I see the doc again in a couple of weeks time. Need to get back to being fit and healthy again!

Looks like getting a jigsaw puzzle out to pass the hours til daylight...

The other thing (one I don't do) is to not look at your phone if you wake up. It'll waken you more and you'll struggle to get back to sleep.

Went to see Dunkirk at the Eccy Community Cinema last night. Recommended.
Looking at the average age of some of the other attendees I think some of them may have seen the play.

Won a bottle of what I'm assured is a "decent red" in the raffle, result.

seems the work will start in the same week that the summerhouse is being built so February is looking to be a little hectic , i think i will be having every trade from electricians , plasterers, tilers and plumbers all in one go.

Oh, and im gonna need a decorator for when they have all finished too :o .

wifey will be relocated to a safe house nearby til its all done ( thanks daughter ! )
