On the back of a facebook post I just realised that anyone taking out student loans now will never repay them*, and is actually passing a much larger debt to the taxpayer 30 years after graduation. They are effectively screwing the generation below, which is what most of them moan about the generation above doing. You gotta larf.

* A debt of 35k needs you earning approx 48k before you pay off any capital.

Is that a euphenism?
Ooops, that's what you get typing half asleep without reading glasses at 5am ....changed it now.

Waited on the doorstep after tracking my Yodel delivery throughout the day and seeing him driving down our road. Standing like an excited kid waiting for him to get out of the van.....had to shout him as he automatically started taking my parcels to the house who normally have millions of parcels each week !

Spent the day doing little jobs for my parents. One of the last jobs was straining and bottling the 3 demi johns of damson gin they've had steeping for the last gods know how many months. Got about 7.5 litres of it into bottles, nasty sticky stuff. My Dad was very disappointed that i don't like it, he wanted to give us some. Apparently they will now refill the damson filled dj's with sherry ready for xmas. They do like strange stuff lol.

Today we viewed some office space in the tech park. Aaaaand fell in love with one that isn’t actually on the market just yet.

Now need to make some quick decisions and see if we want to go ahead. Scary but exciting times!

Had a busy few days, built a porch over the back door to the brick shed where the drier is, now the missus don't get wet when she does the clothes drying, repaired the shed /brewery roof so my beer don't get wet, moved the water barrel and guttering so the barrel does get the wet, and sorted the electrics and installed a breaker in my shed so I don't get killed in the wet.
My body now aches and my hands are cut and burnt, my finger nails are filled with black stuff and I feel great.
"I'm 72 you know" said in a sarcastic and proud voice.

Did you get an EU grant?

You don't get grants for operational costs unfortunately. However the small business grant run by the council will be paying for 53% of my expansion costs to the tune of £10,000 which is rather nice.

It's run by the council, paid for by EU funds
