View attachment 11617Right wing lunatic retracting on his promised deliverables for the benefit of his adoring cronies, waving his right arm at the masses, what does this remind you of?

I seriously can't believe the bullshit Boris and his cronies are trying to cast on their backtrack on High-speed Rail and trying to convince the great unwashed that a severely reduced programme of works is beneficial and what they intended all along because it's delivered earlier.

I'm not a High-speed rail fan per se but please stick to what you promised or back down gracefully and admit you were wrong!!
I've mentioned this on other media, but didn't they compulsory purchase a hell of a lot of land/property? Who gets it, and who decides the price?

New Labour did similar compulsory purchase things for old terrace homes in cities, Liverpool and Stoke are two I remember. They wanted to replace these old homes with newer ones, presumably due to improved energy efficiency?

The Stoke project got cancelled due to a change of government leading to the terrace houses being sold off for a small fee, £10 I think. But the owners had to commit to borrowing money to restore them back to a liveable condition.

Of course, there was resistance since many of these areas had a sense of community, understandable when you live in a terrace.

These are only the ones that were publicised, so I have not doubt were many more, and now this! The masses that still follow his every rule, tell you nobody else could do better, or point the finger elsewhere are just as culpable by endorsing his actions! As for Sunak.....

Rule Breaker!

And now they are using the war in Ukraine as an excuse to not put in a vote of no confidence. There have been more scandals for the Tories in the last 48 hours than there should be for the whole of any government's reign.

Considering all the bad stuff they did was before the war in Ukraine it seems to be stretching it as a reason. I mean, I'm sure they are still doing bad stuff, but we just haven't caught them for those bits yet.

The Conservatives won the election with 365 MPs

Perhaps divide that number into the number of days in a year

And take away 1

Now multiply the number you have by 0
